OFFICIAL PROCESS GUIDE

Free Trial Center:
How to Apply the Right Way

Spots are limited. Applying without a clear method reduces your chances. Follow the official process below.

Why so many applications never move forward

Every week, a large number of Free Trial requests are submitted. Many fail early because the profile is incomplete, the shipping address does not match the site country, the person applies too late, or the review submitted after delivery is weak.

Treating the process as a consistent habit — rather than a one-time attempt — usually makes a difference over time.

What the Free Trial Center actually is

It is Shein’s official product evaluation area. Selected participants can receive eligible items and later share feedback based on real use. When an application is approved, the order is generated and shipped automatically.

Availability changes regularly. Approval is never guaranteed. Profile activity, application timing, and the quality of previous reviews all influence results.

Product types that often appear

Clothing & fashion

Tops, dresses, jeans and seasonal collections.

Beauty & care

Makeup, skincare and everyday personal-care items.

Accessories

Bags, jewelry, footwear and complementary pieces.

Home & lifestyle

Decor, organizers and practical everyday items.

Official application process

1
Open the Free Trial Center

Log in and go to the Free Trial section. You can also reach it from your profile → More services → Free Trial Center. Review the items currently available.

2
Apply for a maximum of 3 items per week

You have 3 weekly opportunities. Unused ones do not roll over. Choose your size, confirm a shipping address from the same country as the site, and submit. If the address country does not match, the application can fail.

3
Check status in My Free Trial

Results usually appear within about one week. Go to My Free Trial / My Applications. Approved means you were selected and the order is processed automatically. Failed means that specific application did not move forward.

4
Submit your review within 10 days

Once the item arrives, try it and write a review covering quality, style, fit, fabric, and construction. Include clear photos (ideally one full-body and two detail shots). Submit the report from Post Report and track it in My Report. Aim to complete it within 10 days. If the first review is rejected, you may get one extra chance to resubmit.

How to write a review that supports future opportunities

The strongest reviews are specific and honest. Include both pros and cons. Explain fit, fabric feel, construction, and everyday use. Real photos matter.

An approved report can contribute 20 points. A Quality Report can add 100 extra points. Late or thin reviews weaken future chances.

Rules that matter most

• Maximum 3 applications per week (they do not accumulate)

• Shipping address must match the country of the Shein site you are using

• Shipping is covered by Shein; customs may apply depending on the country

• Review must be submitted within 10 days after delivery

• Fake or multi-accounts can lead to a ban

• Missing reviews harms future selection chances

Mistakes that often reduce opportunities

❌ Incomplete or outdated profile

❌ Address from a different country than the site

❌ Applying several days after a campaign opens

❌ Short, generic reviews without photos

❌ Missing the 10-day review window

❌ Long gaps of inactivity between applications

“I used to apply without a clear method and almost never progressed. Once I started applying as soon as items appeared, used an address matching the site country, and submitted detailed photo reviews on time, approvals became more frequent.”

Most results appear within about one week in My Free Trial / My Applications.

What if my review is rejected?

You may get one extra chance to fix and resubmit it. Follow the content and photo requirements carefully.

Do I need a large following?

No. Honest, detailed reviews and consistent activity matter more than follower count.
